That's a whole new level of creepiness, dude. The picture above is from Mike, a chicken that was beheaded by its owner, a farmer called Lloyd Olsen, who intended to cook it for dinner in 1945. The problem is: he didn't make a good job and, despite loosing the jugular, a good portion of the brain remained intact. When Olsen noticed the bird was still alive, decided to take care of it and fed it with a mixture of milk and water through a dropper. Mike survived for 18 months. I wonder if it was cooked for dinner after that second death!
